Desks explain. Pulses alert. Commands act.
Cockpit Central is the native Windows control surface for Diary. It does not become a new authority: it reads governed sources, shows their current state, and launches reviewed actions through role-aware gates.
Three kinds of surface, one authority chain.
Desks
Detailed, filterable work surfaces for files, media, APIs, homes, stages, setup, health, projects, and evidence. A Desk may preview or launch a controlled action.
Pulses
Read-mostly summaries with bounded refresh. Pulses expose freshness, exceptions, readiness, and trend without repeating the heavy collector behind the source.
Commands
Context menus and the Diary Commands menu collect supported actions. Availability depends on the selected surface, machine role, and current evidence.
Time-zone context is a first-class Pulse.
The first header surface combines analog and digital clocks, local time-zone identity, UTC offset, current weather, forecast, humidity, wind, daylight, and data freshness. Weather is cached first and refreshed in the background so the application can paint quickly.
The current header signals, from their source definition.
The list below is generated from the public-safe snapshot of the current Cockpit Header Widgets registry. Refresh intervals describe the UI refresh, not a promise that an external provider changes that often.

No Pulse definitions match those filters.
Detail appears where the work belongs.
Exact nested tabs are configuration-aware. These families describe the current application source without promising that every role sees every action.
Operations
Workflow, Heartbeat, Health, Telemetry, Intake, Settings, Setup, Maintenance, Essentials, Apps Ready, Audit, and Trash.
Products
Diary, Dossier, Home, DAM, GAS, Hub, Reach, Concierge, Home, Mail, Navision, Network, and API surfaces.
Media and evidence
Asset, Bracket, Scan, PDF, CSV, YouTube, Plex, and archive-oriented previews that keep originals in their authority lane.
People and work
Support, ToDo, Jobs, Phone, Onboarding, Project, Review, and account-aware work queues.
AI and learning
AI Desk, AI Pulse, Academy, project learning, and self-healing evidence. Healthy noise stays in telemetry; meaningful exceptions can be promoted.
Availability rule
MachineType, configured authorities, license scope, and provider authorization determine which nested data and commands are available.
One workflow at a time, with explicit promotion rules.
Predictable shortcuts and calm refresh.

A client of published signals—not a remote-control copy.
The Android app can present public-safe Pulses, weather, Concierge summaries, compliance views, Product Academy pages, and the exact-host website viewer. Private Windows commands and raw archive paths remain outside the mobile public data contract.
Observable does not mean public.
Public reference
Product purpose, interface behavior, Pulse definitions, refresh policy, workflow roles, and privacy-safe examples.
Private implementation
Credentials, tokens, personal evidence, exact machine paths, property details, private compliance rows, logs, and repair history remain in governed offline authorities.
