The seventh phase is rest

For months, I could see progress everywhere and still struggle to see the work clearly. Software, publishing, corrections, evidence and delivery were moving together. It was productive, but it was loud.

I began thinking about the seven-part creation structure as a personal editorial metaphor. First make the work visible. Then separate it. Give the important things names. Establish boundaries. Find a rhythm. Look honestly at what exists. Finally, rest.

I am not presenting that metaphor as theology, endorsement or proof. It is simply the clearest language I have found for the move from constant activity to a calmer operating model.

Revision 293 does not finish the work. It gives the work enough structure that we can know which decision we are making—and sometimes decide that the right next action is to stop.
